The 10GBASE-BR BIDI SFP+ Optical Transceiver is a single fiber bi-directional 10.3Gbps Small Form Factor Pluggable SFP+ BIDI module for 10GBASE Ethernet. Using 1270nm at the transmit end and 1330nm at the receive end, the SFP+ BR40U provides 10Gb/s throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a transmission distance of up to 40km. The transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3 10GBASE-BR40, and SFI standards. The electrical interface is an MSA-compliant 20-pin edge connector and the optical interface is a simplex LC connector. Full-duplex SFP+ transceivers with highly reliable DFB transmitters and PIN photodetectors provide high-performance interconnects at 10 Gbps data rates. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support enables real-time performance monitoring via a 2-wire interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are pre-programmed at the factory for compatibility and perform identically to common MSA transceivers.
